Accommodation
Hostel-type accommodations with 1-4 beds per room for students. Professors and chaperones will have rooms as requested and required, subject to availability.
Meals
Most meals are included, with exceptions noted in the itinerary. In some cases, meals are not provided due to logistical challenges (e.g., at airports), and in others, we encourage exploring local dining options as smaller groups, when suitable.
Transport
All transportation logistics within Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands are covered.
Guides & Tours
Experienced guides and tours as specified in the itinerary.
Not Included
Galápagos National Park Entrance Fee
$200 (as of August 2024). This fee is paid in cash upon arrival in the Galápagos. Due to the bureaucratic process, it cannot be prepaid.
Airport Transit Fee
$20, payable at the mainland airport before departure to the Galápagos. While this fee cannot be prepaid, we offer assistance where possible.
Airfare
Round trip airfare between your home and Quito, as well as internal flights to the Galápagos. We recommend that university travel departments handle flight bookings, as they often secure better rates.

Tips
Gratuities for yacht crews, guides, and naturalists. We can provide guidance on appropriate tipping if needed.
Personal Expenses
Laundry services, beverages not included with meals, and excess baggage charges.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend securing coverage for trip cancellation/interruption, emergency medical evacuation, travel accidents, delays, and baggage issues. Unfortunately, we cannot provide specific advice on this.
